Unchained Melody
Unchained Melody, made in collaboration with the artist Inés Maestre, is an evolving series that revolves around jewellery by Zelda Passini and reflects on the sensation of touch: how we interact with surfaces, materials, and loved ones when we are deprived of close encounters and proximity. It portrays the love of two girls that cannot touch each other ever again due to her new state of being as a powerless spirit. Through a combination of the elements of digital painting and photography, we force the viewer to register touch through a sense of longing.
